Quality Pathways Director Yelena Costa brings a profound commitment to the disability sector. Yelena’s passion for disability was ignited by lived experiences and advocacy for disability rights. Yelena has a comprehensive understanding of the challenges within the disability sector. Her unique blend of skills and insights allows her to effectively address the diverse needs of individuals living with disabilities, ensuring they receive the quality support they deserve.

Yelena’s background in Disability is extensive and her knowledge of the NDIS is also quite broad. She has previously worked as a Quality Coordinator (3 years), Support Worker (2 years), Reportable Incidents Officer to the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission (3 years), Approved Program Officer – authorising restrictive practices and Service Planning Partner (2 years) which entails onboarding of participants, creating Rosters of Care (ROC), ensuring their NDIS funding matches the ROC, dealing with Support Coordinators on a regular basis to discuss client’s needs, ROC and funding.

Her extensive background encompasses both rural and urban settings in South Australia, where she has gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in various disability settings including school, home, out in the community, etc.

Qualification wise Yelena has completed her Certificate 4 in Disability.
